Municipality of Dijk en Waard: applying for a planning permit
Do you want to know whether you need an omgevingsvergunning (planning permit)? You can do an online vergunningcheck (permit check) at the Omgevingsloket online (planning permit online service desk) in Dutch.
This is how you apply for planning permission:
- Go to the Omgevingsloket online.
- Do the vergunningcheck.
- See whether you need a permit.
- You can apply for the permit immediately online or in writing. Use the Omgevingsloket for both options. Log in:
* for yourself: with DigiD
* for a company: with eHerkenning
The costs depend on which environmental permit you are applying for. You also pay for pre consulation, even if you do not get the permit. You can read more about the costs on our website.
Regular procedure
Most applications go through the regular procedure. For example, when building a house that fits within the applicable planning rules. The time to make a decision is 8 weeks, but can be extended once by 6 weeks.
The extended procedure @The extensive procedure applies to complex projects where the municipality has to deal with different interests and stakeholders. The parties must inspect documents in order to respond to them. This procedure can take 6 months and can be extended once for 6 weeks.
Incomplete application
If the application turns out to be incomplete, the decision period will be interrupted. This will only run again once all the requested data has been received. You have 6 weeks to provide all data. The application will be terminated after 6 weeks.
