Municipality of Maastricht: applying for a personalised disabled parking space

You may be eligible for disabled parking if:

• you have a car, brommobiel (moped) or gehandicaptenvoertuig (disabled vehicle)
• you have a gehandicaptenparkeerkaart bestuurder (disabled driver's parking permit)
• you have a loopbeperking (walking disability) that is permanent
• you can walk less than 100 meters independently
• you do not have your own parking space, such as a driveway, carport or garage
• the free parking spaces in your neighborhood are often occupied
• the municipality is convinced that an individual disabled parking space is urgently needed

• Write ‘disabled parking space’ in the subject line.
• State your name and address.
   

You will then receive an application form.

You pay a fee for this service. For more information, contact the municipality.

The municipality will decide on your application within 8 weeks of receipt. The municipality may extend this period 1 time (for a further 8 weeks) if required.
