Municipality of Deventer: applying for a personalised disabled parking space

If you have a disability, you can apply for a parking space for the disabled. This is a parking space close to your home.

The parking space for the disabled is only for your own car. You can apply for a parking space for the disabled inside or outside a paid parking zone.

You can apply for a parking space for the disabled if:

you own a car, moped or disabled vehicle;
you hold a European disabled driver's parking card;
you have a walking disability that is permanent;
you do not have your own parking space, such as a driveway, carport or garage.

A parking space for the disabled costs a one-off fee of € 281,75 (rate 2024). You pay this amount after being granted a parking space.

Following your application, an employee of Deventer municipality will look at the location you have indicated. The employee will investigate whether it is technically possible to create a parking space for the disabled.
