Municipality of Aalsmeer: applying for a personalised disabled parking space

You can apply for a personalised disabled parking space online with your DigiD. Please note: you can only apply for a personalised disabled parking space if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.

If you do not have a DigiD, you can also visit the Town Hall. You will need to call the municipality to make an appointment in advance: +31 297 38 75 75.

  • your DigiD; 
  • a valid passport or identity card; 
  • a copy of your vehicle registration certificate; 
  • a copy of the lease contract (if you have a lease car).

You pay towards the construction of a personalised disabled parking space. You can sometimes receive compensation for the construction of the parking space under the Social Support Act (Wet maatschappelijke). For more information, please visit the municipality’s website.

After your application, the municipality will assess whether a medical examination is necessary and we will inform you of the costs. After payment, we will ask an inspection body for advice. 

You will receive a letter with the outcome. We will do our best to make a decision within 8 weeks. We may extend this period once by 8 weeks.
