Municipality of Hollands Kroon: applying for a personal budget (pgb)

Customized provision

The neighborhood team will talk to you to find a solution together or to provide help with your support request. A customized facility may be required. A tailor-made provision is help that suits your situation, when other solutions are not suitable or sufficient.

Personal budget

A personal budget (pgb) is an amount of money with which you can purchase help yourself. You then arrange the customized provision that the municipality has assigned to you.

Contact with the neighborhood team

If you have a request for support, you can contact the neighborhood team. A district team employee will then make an appointment with you. You can discuss with the district team employee what options are available in your area. You also check whether more is needed, such as specialized care or aids. The district teams can then fall back on different healthcare institutions or customized provision can be arranged from the personal budget.

With a personal budget, you will not receive the amount in your bank account. So you do not pay the healthcare providers yourself. You instruct the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) to pay your healthcare providers. The SVB pays healthcare providers via an invoice, a time sheet or a monthly payment.

You pay a personal contribution of approximately 20 euros per month for a personal budget from the Wmo. With the Youth Act or Wmo 18- you do not pay a personal contribution. See CAK website for more information.
