Municipality of Dijk en Waard: applying for a personal budget (pgb)
Applying for a PGB is always the second step. You must first apply for care. The municipality arranges care under the Social Support Act (Wmo) and the Youth Act. The municipality assesses what care is needed and which solution suits you or your child.
If you apply for a PGB, the municipality assesses whether you are capable of managing it. You also submit a budget plan to the municipality, outlining how the care will be arranged and what it will cost.
