One person: €1,023.00

A married couple or registered partners: €1,305.00

A minor: €151.00

Are you stateless? Or do you have an asylum residence permit (document III or IV)? Then you pay:

a person: € 760.00

a married couple or registered partners: € 1,044.00

You pay this at the time of your application.

• The municipality assesses whether you meet all conditions for naturalisation and provides the Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst – IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service) with their recommendation. The municipality sends your file to the IND.
• The IND checks whether you meet all conditions and makes a decision. The IND must take a decision within 12 months. If you have any questions about the application in the meantime, you can contact the IND.
• You officially become a Dutch citizen after the naturalisatieceremonie (naturalisation ceremony).
• You can apply for a Dutch travel document such as a passport or identiteitskaart (ID-kaart) 1 week after the naturalisation ceremony.
