Municipality of Arnhem: applying for Dutch citizenship by naturalisation
Becoming a Dutch citizen can be done through an option statement or a naturalisation request. The option statement is the easiest way. But if you do not qualify for an option, you can submit a naturalisation request to the municipality. Make an appointment for this.
You can find the conditions on the website of the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).
If your birth certificate has not yet been registered in the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP), you must first submit this foreign certificate. Please make a separate appointment for this.
