Municipality of Oudewater: applying for a business passport
If you often travel abroad for work, you can apply for a business passport. A business passport has more pages for customs stamps and visas.
Please note: you can only apply for a Dutch zakenpaspoort (business passport) if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.

- You are registered in the municipality of Oudewater.
- You have to come to town hall in person
What should you bring with you when you apply for your business passport?
-Any travel documents you have (such as an expired passport or a valid ID card).
-A passport photo that meets all photo requirements.
What should you take with you when you collect your business passport?
-Your valid ID.
You must apply for a business passport in person at the municipality where you live. Make an appointment to apply for a passport at town hall. Application can not be done through an online process.

When will you receive your business passport?
-You can pick up your business passport at the town hall after 6 working days.
-Make an appointment for this and bring a proof of identity with you to your appointment.
-You must collect your passport within 3 months.

Do you need your business passport within 6 working days? If you submit an urgent application before 3 p.m. today, you can collect your business passport after 11 a.m. tomorrow.
How long is your business passport valid for?
A business passport is valid for 10 years.
