Municipality of Dronten: applying for a business passport

To apply for a business passport, you will need the following:

All passports and identity cards you still have, even if they have expired;

One color passport photo, no older than six months, that meets the passport photo requirements. You can have a passport photo taken at one of the local businesses in the city center;

Your debit card or cash. You pay immediately upon application.

For persons aged 18 and over, a business passport or Dutch identity card is valid for 10 years.
For persons under 18, a business passport or identity card is valid for 5 years.

When applying for a business passport for children under 18, the following is required:

One parent or guardian must accompany the application and collection of the travel document.

Consent must be given for this appointment. This can be done online with DigiD, or with the written consent form including the signature of the parent(s) or guardian(s). The signature must match the signature on the ID.
The consent form is valid for a maximum of four weeks.

For this appointment, you must bring the (valid) IDs of (both) parents or guardians. A copy is also sufficient. If one parent is not accompanying the application and has given permission with DigiD, a (valid) ID is not required.

Children must always be present for the application and collection of their document.

You must apply for a business passport in person at the municipality where you live. Make an appointment to apply for a passport.

Urgent request

If you need your passport quickly, you can make an urgent application. Allow for some delay if you no longer have your old passport.

You can collect the passport from the municipality after around a week. You have 3 months in which to collect your new passport.

Validity

A business passport is valid for 10 years.
