Municipality of Zwolle: applying for an EU parking card for people with disabilities

Driver card

You can apply for a driver card if you meet the following conditions:

• you are a resident of Zwolle.
• you have a valid driver's license.
• you cannot walk independently for more than 100 meters at a time with aids such as a cane, crutches or walker. This has been the case for at least 6 months.
• or you are permanently confined to a wheelchair.
• or you have other serious limitations that you can demonstrate.

Passenger card

You can apply for a passenger card if you meet the following conditions:

• you are a resident of Zwolle.
• you are always dependent on a driver for door-to-door transport.
• you cannot walk independently for more than 100 meters at a time with aids such as a cane, crutches or walker. This has been the case for at least 6 months.
• or you are permanently confined to a wheelchair.
• or you have other serious limitations that you can demonstrate.

Children can also get a passenger card. They must meet the same conditions.

Settings card

As a healthcare institution, you can apply for an institution card if you meet the following conditions:

• The institution must be located in Zwolle.
• The vehicles for which you request the parking card must be registered in the name of the institution.
• You may only use the card for transport for people with disabilities living in the institution.
