Municipality of Zwolle: applying for an EU parking card for people with disabilities
Please note: You can only apply for an EU parking card for people with disabilities if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality. There are three types of parking tickets:
- Driver card
- Passenger card
- Business card
Driver card
You can apply for a driver card if you meet the following conditions:
- you are a resident of Zwolle.
- you have a valid driver's license.
- you cannot walk independently for more than 100 meters at a time with aids such as a cane, crutches or walker. This has been the case for at least 6 months.
- or you are permanently confined to a wheelchair.
- or you have other serious limitations that you can demonstrate.
Passenger card
You can apply for a passenger card if you meet the following conditions:
- you are a resident of Zwolle.
- you are always dependent on a driver for door-to-door transport.
- you cannot walk independently for more than 100 meters at a time with aids such as a cane, crutches or walker. This has been the case for at least 6 months.
- or you are permanently confined to a wheelchair.
- or you have other serious limitations that you can demonstrate.
Children can also get a passenger card. They must meet the same conditions.
Settings card
As a healthcare institution, you can apply for an institution card if you meet the following conditions:
- The institution must be located in Zwolle.
- The vehicles for which you request the parking card must be registered in the name of the institution.
- You may only use the card for transport for people with disabilities living in the institution.
