medical examination may be required for new application and renewal. You have to pay the cost yourself.

2 types of disabled parking cards

Driver card: you have a long-term walking disability and cannot walk more than 100 consecutive meters.
Passenger card: you are dependent on assistance from the driver from door to door and are unable to walk.

Your parking card can be renewed through the SAP Foundation. The application for renewal takes several weeks.

Maximum 5 years

A parking permit is valid for up to 5 years. In some cases, it can also be less. If the symptoms have improved, for example due to surgery or treatment, you will get the card for a shorter period.

In case of theft

If your parking card is stolen, you must always report it to the police. After that, submit an application for a new parking permit.

In case of loss

Apply at the SAP foundation for a replacement card.

You will need:

1 recent passport photo
The old disabled parking permit will be taken at the time of the home visit

If you do not yet have a parking card, please transfer € 185 to NL98 INGB 0009 5903 92 of the SAP foundation in Bavel. Include your name, address and telephone number.
If you would like to extend your parking card, please transfer € 75 to NL98 INGB 0009 5903 92 of stichting SAP in Bavel. Include your name, address and telephone number.
If you have a parking card that is valid for less than 5 years or was issued in another municipality, please transfer € 185 to NL98 INGB 0009 5903 92 of stichting SAP in Bavel. Include your name, address and telephone number.
Applying for a replacement card after a loss costs €45.

After receiving the amount, the doctor of the SAP foundation will contact you to make an appointment for the medical examination or assessment.
