Municipality of Rotterdam: applying for an EU parking card for people with disabilities
Please note: You can only apply for an EU parking card for people with disabilities if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
For the application you need:
- Copy of a valid passport or identity card.
- If you are applying for the driver card: copy of a valid driving licence.
- A colour passport photo that is of a good likeness to you and is not older than 6 months.
- If you have a Canta microcar or motorised tricycle/quadricycle: a copy of the insurance certificate.
You can apply online using DigiD of eHerkenning. Or apply by mail.

You pay a fee for this service. For more information, visit our website: Europese gehandicaptenparkeerkaart aanvragen.
It will take 4 to 6 weeks to get your card. Without medical assessment, it will take 5 working days.
You must collect the card in person at the municipal offices. You don't need to make an appointment.
