Municipality of Montferland: applying for an EU parking card for people with disabilities

People with a disability who have difficulty walking and wheelchair users can apply for a Disabled Parking Permit.

To get a permit, you must meet the following conditions:

  • You cannot walk more than 100 metres at a time (with a cane, walker or other walking aid) and you are a driver;
  • You cannot walk more than 100 metres at a time and you are dependent on a driver for transport (with a Pcard);

The municipality will arrange for a medical examiner to examine your medical situation. You will be invited to an assessment. If the municipality knows that your situation is unchanged, no medical examination will be required for the renewal of a parking permit.

'Questionnaire for applying for a disabled parking space' will take you to the questionnaire you need to apply for a disabled parking permit. You can establish whether you are potentially eligible for a disabled parking permit by filling out the form.
