Municipality of Maastricht: applying for an EU parking card for people with disabilities

If you meet the conditions, you can apply for the EU parking card for people with disabilities using a paper application form. You can request that form from us by e-mail at parkeren@maastricht.nl.

For a first application, an independent medical examination is a mandatory part of the application procedure.

We will make a decision within 8 weeks of receiving your application.  Provided we have the confirmation from the approving authority. We also determine how long your parking ticket will remain valid. We generally follow the advice of the inspection authority (in relation to the clinical picture, this does not apply to a gehandicaptenparkeerkaart voor zorginstellingen, disabled parking card for care institutions).

Have you applied for an extension of your parking card and no medical examination is required? Then you will receive your new parking card one week before your old card expires.
