Municipality of Hoeksche Waard: applying for an EU parking card for people with disabilities
Please note: You can only apply for an EU parking card for people with disabilities if you live in the Netherlands and are registered with a municipality.
The European disability parking card scheme specifies who is eligible for a disabled parking card. A disabled parking card works as follows:
-The parking ticket is in the name of 1 person.
-The card is not registered.
-You can use the card for any car.
-The parking card is valid for a maximum of 5 years.
-Your valid driver's license (if a driver card) or proof of identity (if a passenger card) .
-A passport photo that meets the passport photo requirements. There is a passport photo machine at our service points, which you can use to take passport photos for €7. You can pay with a contactless card or cash with the exact amount. The passport photo machine is unfortunately not suitable for young children, people in a wheelchair or people who cannot sit unaccompanied. You can also contact a photographer or a photo shop for a passport photo that meets the requirements.
-Cash or your debit card. You immediately pay for your parking card when you apply. You can only pay with your debit card. Except at our Oud-Beijerland service point; there you can also pay cash.
-Complete the application form for the disabled parking card and take it with you.
Complete the form and include the attachments.
First application: € 115.45
Grant without medical examination: € 41.90
Grant with medical examination: € 115.45
A file review may show that a medical examination is also necessary in the event of an extension. In that case you have to take extra costs into account. You immediately pay for your parking card when you apply. You can only pay with your debit card. Except at our Oud-Beijerland service point; there you can also pay cash.
It will take 8 weeks to get your card. You must collect the card in person at the municipal offices.
