Do you live in the Netherlands and have a DigiD? If so, you can apply for your birth certificate online. You can also use your DigiD to apply for your birth certificate from outside the Netherlands.

A copy or extract of the birth certificate costs: € 16,60.

Applying in the Netherlands

You will receive the birth certificate by post after a maximum of 5 working days. Do you need the extract faster? Then make an appointment for our counter. Then you will receive the extract immediately.
