You pay a fee for this service.

Applying in the Netherlands

You will receive the birth certificate by post after no more than 3 working days.

Applying from outside the Netherlands

The municipality will send the birth certificate to your address outside the Netherlands within 3 working days. The time taken by the postal service varies from country to country.
