Municipality of Vlissingen: applying to collect a driving licence

• When applying for your first driving license: a valid passport or a valid identity card; 
• When renewing your driving license: the driving license you already have. If this is no longer valid, also bring a valid passport or a valid identity card;
• A color passport photo, no older than 6 months, that meets the requirements for passport photos; 
• Cash or a bank card. You pay directly at the time of application.

You apply for a driving license in person or have it renewed at the municipality where you are registered. You need an appointment for this. After about a week, you can pick up your driving license.

Has your driving license expired or do you want to have a new category added to your driving license? Then you can apply for a new driving license online at the RDW. This can be done via the website Renew driving license online | RDW.

After around a week, you can collect your driving licence from the municipality in person.

Do you need it sooner than that?

If you need your driving licence urgently, you can make an urgent request. If you apply for the driving licence before 14:00, you will be able to collect it the next working day. You have to pay an extra fee for an urgent request.
